Chapter House CafeI obviously couldn't survive on the same five pieces of art for very long, so this cafe exhibition helped me focus on producing more work. It was my first solo exhibition and ran for six weeks. I presented digitally altered images that were not quite collage, like the Manchester Prayer Network pieces, but not untouched photos either. I also produced a range of 'ordinary' photographs that showed nature in both its unaltered glory and with Man's intervention. For example, "Last Gate" (taken at the Minack Theatre where a door appears to provide access only to the sea) or "Strawberry Fields" (where Man has created nature in Central Park, New York).
